August 29 - 31, 2008 Our 14th annual Labor Day Gathering!! What better way to wrap up your summer on Labor Day weekend than with Sloppy Joe and friends?! This year's Labor Day Bash was a HUGE success. Hope you had as good of a time as we did. We couldn't have done it without all of you. We would like to thank YOU for joining us. Big thanks to all our dedicated volunteers and all the talented bands who played.
Sloppy Joe is hosting the Wednesday acoustic open mic nights at the Northland Ballroom located on State Highway 49 between Iola and Rosholt, Wisconsin. BREAKING NEWS UPDATE!! Art Stevenson and Dale Reichert of HighWater have returned to the Northland stage and will now be hosting the 2nd Wed. of each month...Sloppy Joe will be hosting all other Wednesdays.

June 6 - 8 Wild Springs Campout at Paul and Betty's new old 142 acre potato farm! 27362 Potato Farm Rd Ontonagon, MI Sloppy Joe plays Saturday night June 7th Called the Wild Springs Campout in honor of the abundant water that flows forth from the soil. Artesian water will be available, but otherwise it's bring your own everything. We will have a bonfire, but probably not firewood for purchase.The cost is $10 per person camping and music included. Camping on Friday is free. Nearby attractions include Lake of the Clouds and the Porcupine Mountains www.porcupinemountains.com , Adventure Copper Mine tours http://www.exploringthenorth.com/mine/venture.html ,
Lake Superior, numerous waterfalls and hiking
trails, and more, just ask.
There are three rules. Take US 2 East from Ironwood, MI Hurley, WI about 10 miles to a left turn on M-28 in Wakefield, follow M-28 20 miles through Merriweather and Bergland, MI to M-64 North (left) , Follow M-64 10 miles towards White Pine and hang a right on LP Walsh Rd, Take LP Walsh 5 miles, turn right on Potato Farm Rd and continue just over a mile
to
27362 Potato Farm Rd on the left. place to stock up on goods will be Ironwood. Ontonagon and the farm are in the Eastern Time Zone. ***(Paul's birthday is June 6th. He'll be 38)***
